Vijayawada: After Panchakarla Ramesh Babu submitted his resignation letter to his post and party membership, Y. V. Subba Reddy, the YSRCP North Andhra coordinator, expressed his disappointment at the hasty decision and emphasised the importance of consultation.
During a media interaction, Y. V. Subba Reddy dismissed Ramesh Babu’s claims as baseless. He stated that despite rejecting numerous requests from senior party leaders, the YSRCP had offered Ramesh Babu an influential position within the party. Subba Reddy clarified that any issues raised by Ramesh Babu in the past had been addressed satisfactorily. He found it inappropriate for Ramesh Babu to now allege that the Chief Minister had not granted him an opportunity to voice his grievances, considering that Ramesh Babu had made the decision without consulting them.
However, sources indicate that Panchakarla Ramesh Babu is likely to join the Jana Sena Party soon with the intention of contesting from the Pendurthi constituency, where he enjoys considerable support.
