Bengaluru: The state Government has started the process of canceling the BPL ration card of owners with the white board car. A survey of four-wheelers is underway by the Food Department. On the other hand, some people have not received the Anna Bhagya scheme money.
Anna Bhagya Scheme has been implemented and distribution of 5 kgs of free rice and Rs. 170 per 5 kg of rice has reached the ration card holders. In the meantime, depratment has decided to cancel the BPL card for people owning white board car. It is said that this practice has been there since the beginning, and this year the Food Department has started a four-wheeler vehicle survey which has white board. It is planned to conduct a survey in this regard and the process will be started within the next month.
Information about four-wheeler owners will come from RTO. In addition, the Income Tax Department has said that they will start the process of canceling the cards of those for who are paying income tax.
Anna Bhagya money has reached all the ration card holders of the District, but it is said that more than 10 lakh ration holders have not recieved it. The reason is that the account numbers are not correct, the account is not linked to Aadhaar, and the amount has not reached due to this type of reasons.
The ration card holders with the white board car is going to be cancelled, and the Food Department has decided to conduct a survey to collect information. For this, we have to wait and see how many cards will be canceled in relation to the whiteboard card this year.
