Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran declared that Air India, which has been under the management of the Tata Group since January of last year, will include cutting-edge AI and ML technologies. He highlighted that because Air India is not just another economic initiative for the group but rather a passion and a national purpose.
Speaking during a ceremony to reveal Air India’s new brand identity and aircraft livery, Chandrasekaran emphasised the importance of improving all facets of the airline’s human resources.
He mentioned the airline’s adoption of AI and ML technology to improve its operations while acknowledging the challenges that lie ahead and expressing optimism in the way forward.
Chandrasekaran further emphasised that Tata Group’s vision for Air India aligns with a resurgent India’s aspirations and limitless potential. The new logo, which draws from the historic window emblem, symbolises infinite possibilities, progressiveness, and confidence.
The Tata Group purchased the government-owned airline Air India in January 2022.
Chandrasekaran said that he gets input on the airline that is both positive and negative. The dedication to making Air India world-class in terms of modernity, safety, cutting-edge technology, outstanding customer service, and the extraordinary experience that the airline was once known for, he said, can be seen in even criticisms, which show genuine care and commitment.
The adoption of AI and ML technologies by Air India highlights the expanding impact of these tools in changing various sectors, including aviation, to improve productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall in operations.
