Deputy Chief Minister responded to the mediapersons while inspecting the construction work of Kempegowda Layout, He said, “I have seen few places inside Kempegowda Layout and not satisfied with the facilities available here. So far it has not been beneficial to anyone, including the people who lost their land, the residents and the BDA.”
Local MLAs have raised many issues. They have asked that electricity connection, drainage and drinking water supply facility should be provided in this part. Landlords also said that they are not able to build houses due to lack of infrastructure. Officials have given their own answer about this. Only 60% of the land has been acquired by the Government in this layout. I will discuss the remedial measures with the revenue department and legal experts,” he said.
