Bengaluru: Home Minister G. Parameshwara said that he will discuss with CM Siddaramaiah about the complaint regarding the statements of actor Upendra and Minister S. S. Mallikarjun and take legal action against them.
Talking about the statement of Upendra and Minister Mallikarjun against Scheduled Castes, he said that no one can tolerate such statements. Thus the one who speaks should understand that anyone talking about a community in a degrading way will face suitable action. If there is a proverb or saying, it is not right to talk about it. He called it a nonsense statement.
It would be good to stop this. I can’t stand this either. Isn’t it an insult to a community to talk like this? Even if it is a Minister or anyone. We will take legal action, he rued. He said that he will discuss the case of Upendra and Minister Mallikarjuna with the CM.
I don’t know what Minister Mallikarjun said. But I read about it in the paper. The Rajajinagar case has been transferred to Vidhana Soudha. It is not right to talk about other communities in public life. If you talk like this, won’t it hurt the community? We will talk to the CM about both the complaints. Minister Parameshwara said that action will be taken according to law.
