Bengaluru: The scam has been going on in the name of promotion of hostel wardens in Backward Classes Department, Aam Aadmi Party State President Mukyamantri Chandru has written a letter to CM Siddaramaiah demanding the resignation of Minister Shivaraj Thangadagi.
A complaint should be lodged in the Lokayukta against Shivaraj Thangadagi after producing evidence related to the transfer and commission racket, stated Mukyamantri Chandru in a letter and requested that the CM personally take responsibility and ensure that the ministers and officials at the highest level do not influence the investigation.
As soon as he got a tip-off that a Minister in the Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab Government had asked for 1% commission, the Punjab Chief Minister sacked the Minister and sent him to jail. If you have not taken such action in Karnataka, it is natural to think that you are also involved in this illegality. If you do not take these measures, the Aam Aadmi Party will fight against the Government, stated Chandru in the letter.
Backward Classes Welfare Minister Shivaraj Thangadagi has issued an order to illegally promote 312 officials to the post of dormitory wardens without bringing it to the notice of the Chief Minister and the Cabinet. He says Law Minister H. K. Patil has agreed for this action. How the Law minister obeyed for this action? This seems suspicious, added in the letter.
