A job search function will soon be available on X, formerly known as Twitter, allowing users to look for employment possibilities on the website. According to ‘@xDaily,’ a trustworthy source for X-related news, Elon Musk’s AI startup has started the process by publishing job advertisements on the @XHiring account. This functionality is presently only accessible to users in the United States and is only available online.
A job search feature and opportunity matching are on the horizon, according to Chris Bakke, the former CEO of Laskie, a job-matching website that Twitter purchased in May.
This development aligns with a screenshot shared by app researcher Nima Owji last month, which hinted at an upcoming job listing feature under the name “Twitter Hiring.”
Verified organisations will be allowed to use the job listing tool without charge. These businesses can advertise job openings on their company profiles to draw applicants for available roles. Up to five employment vacancies may be displayed on the profiles of verified companies.
Elon Musk had previously hinted at the creation of this function when he suggested the notion of a job search feature dubbed “Twinder” in response to a remark regarding a dating app. The recent purchase of Laskie by X, the company’s first acquisition following Musk’s involvement, probably contributed to the development and introduction of this job search feature.
Elon Musk pledged his commitment to building at least one successful “social network” in a larger context. He noted the dearth of distinctive social networks currently available and reaffirmed his commitment to have a constructive influence in this space. Despite the difficulties, Musk is unwavering in his aim of building a distinctive and significant platform inside the social networking industry.
