Darren Kent, a well-known Hollywood actor known for his work on “Game of Thrones” and other notable films, has unexpectedly passed away at the age of 36. Fans and the entertainment industry alike will sadly miss Kent, who was most known for playing a goatherd in “Game of Thrones” whose animals and child were slain by Daenerys’ dragons.
Darren Kent, a native of Essex, England, gained recognition for his acting in a number of films, notably the 2008 horror movie “Mirrors.” He received praise for his performance in the Emmy-winning television series “Game of Thrones.” He recently appeared in the 2023 movie “Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” as a reanimated corpse.
Further roles in movies including Snow White and the Huntsman, Marshal’s Law, Bloody Cuts, The Frankenstein Chronicles, Blood Drive, Les Misérables, Green Fingers, EastEnders, Happy Hours, Love Without Walls, and Birds Sorrow were also included in Kent’s acting resume.
Beyond acting, Kent was also an accomplished writer and director. His 2021 short film ‘You Know Me’ earned him recognition and an accolade for his creative contribution.
His talent agency, Carey Dodd Associates, had stated “We are deeply saddened to inform you that our cherished friend and client, Darren Kent, peacefully passed away August 15. He was surrounded by his parents and closest friend during his final moments. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family during this challenging time. Rest in peace, dear friend (sic).”
