Jabalpur: Bharatiya Janata Party in Madhya Pradesh has no face to show to the voters, It has no Chief ministerial face to show, and the party itself is suffering due to the multiple identities in a negative manner, said former Chief Minister of the state Kamalnath.
Addressing a press conference on September 21, Kamalnath stated that “The BJP has cornered itself by being identified by the people as – Banavati BJP (Cheating BJP), Vilasi BJP (opulent BJP), Dikhavati BJP (show off BJP), and Sajavati BJP (cosmetic BJP). In fact, the present Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, has lost face rapidly and definitely in Madhya Pradesh, and BJP’s system has become so weak and vulnerable that it has nobody else by Shivaraj Singh Chauhan to project as Chief Ministerial candidate, In fact, we in the Indian National Congress also want BJP to show him as Chief Ministerial candidate. People will decide between the false pretentiousness of Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Guarantee of Kamalnath.”
Today, a deep rooted ring of corruption and nepotism is seen all around Madhya Pradesh, and the people of Madhya Pradesh and even the powerful fourth estate have been witness to how the political system and the administration have been subjected to decay and erosion of values. “Right from the Panchayat level to the top level in the party, corruption has ruled the roost. Madhya Pradesh has been reduced to the most corrupt state in the country, which has become the bane of the people. It is sad that people of Madhya Pradesh have been turned into either witnesses to corruption or victims of corruption. There are countless numbers of ‘Ghotalas’(scams) that no day passes without a new scam”. Kamalnath said.
Berating Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s “dubious”methods off governance, Kamalnath said, “Chauhan’s ‘Jhoot ke Machine is running with double speed, and all the promises and announcements have fallen by the wayside, and he is left with no defence against the failed promises and announcements now. The people are not prepared to get fooled, and they want a change that will deliver them from poverty, unemployment, and social disparities”.
Today, Madhya Pradesh is facing a serious charge of being the state with the largest number of unemployed youth. If an inquiry commission is appointed, it will give a verdict that the biggest challenge to Madhya Pradesh is that of unemployment and lacklustre developmental plans,” Kamalnath stated.
What was more dangerous for Madhya Pradesh under the BJP rule and misrule of Shivaraj Singh Chauhan is that no investment is coming to Madhya Pradesh in job creating industries, those who want to invest go either to Tamil Nadu or Kerala or even to Haryana and Punjab. But Madhya Pradesh is left high and dry in terms of investment.
