Bengaluru: The French electronics brand Thomson will usher in a new range of electronics and white goods in India. The foray into Indian market has already begun this festive season, and according to the exclusive franchise holder, Super Plastronics Pvt. Ltd. (SPPL), it holds exclusive licence to manufacture high resolution Television sets, new generation washing machines, monitors, laptops, and consumer electronics.
According to a communiqué from SPPL Chief Executive Officer Avneet Singh Marwah “There is a new market opening for niche products on the new technology platform, The SPPL has already launched many products from this platform which are guaranteed to give long lasting satisfaction and value for their money to consumers in the white goods segment of the consumer electronic industry. Other brands Oneplus and Realme have exited the TV market from India, Oneplus had the biggest market share so far, Thomson is going to aggressively capture that market share”
The new range of products from Thomson have been enabled with cutting edge technology which is complies with the ‘Atmanirbhar’ movement in India. “Our Televsion sets have got the have a direct Google license to manufacture Android Tvs and working on future projects closely with Google” Marwah told Hans India. “We have tied up with Flipkart for aggressive marketing. In the festive season from October to December, we aim at mopping up Rs.500 Crores, and by the end of this financial year we would have made a business of Rs. 1200 crores”. Marwah told.
Earlier this year, Thomson invested INR 200 crores towards its new Washing Machine factory in Noida and has launched a huge line up of semi automatic, fully automatic, and front loads machines in India.
One of the special technology driven product is the TV of the World Cup Special Edition TV 43Alpha005BL, priced at Rs. 14,999 with Blue Bezels feature which is a new buzz in the industry. With prices starting as low as INR 8,888/- for Android smart TVs, Thomson is set out to make some unparalleled offers, giving out the most affordable Android Tv’s in the segment. Likewise Thomson washing machines will start at a price point of INR 5057/- for 7 kgs making it the most ‘premium affordable’ product in its category. These discounts will be available during all 8-days of the festive season sale. The TV comes bundled with Disney Plus Hotstar on the OTT content subscription.
TVs with Realtek processors are packed with Android 11 with premium features like Bezel-less design, 30 W speakers, Dolby Digital, built in Netflix, More Than 6,000 Apps and Games Like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+Hotstar, Apple TV, Voot, Zee5, Sony LIV, Google Play Store with 500,000 TV Shows. The new 43 inch FA Series TV is priced at its best in the segment at Rs. 17,499.
