Bengaluru: After the release of the BJP Praja Manifesto, the Congress has also released its manifesto. Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023 fever is increasing day by day as only 8 days arw left for voting.
Amidst this, BJP released its public manifesto on May 1. Following this on May 2, Congress has released its election manifesto. All India Congress Committee President Mallikarjuna Kharge released a manifesto in the name of ‘Congress commitment to the garden of peace for all races’ with the slogan that Congress will come and bring progress.
Congress has promised in its manifesto to ban PFI and Bajrang Dal, if Congress comes to power. In addition, it has said that NEP will be cancelled and Karnataka Education Policy will be implemented.
The Congress released its election manifesto in a event held at a private hotel in Bengaluru, the Congress party has already announced guarantees to women, youth and the farming community, and now it has announced massive plans to woo the voters and counter the BJP.
The main points of the Congress manifesto is 10 kg rice free every month for the BPL family. 200 units of electricity under the Gruha Jyoti scheme. Rs 3,000 assistance to unemployed youth and Rs 2,000 to house owner under Gruhalakshmi Yojana.
Free travel in government buses for women, assistance to unemployed youth under Yuva Nidhi scheme and Rs 30,000 grant per year for modernisation of weavers’ looms, establishment of Mangala Mukhi Board Annual grant of Rs 100 crores and through it grant of up to three lakhs for self-employment has been assured. Rs. 20,000 grant as one time assistance to street vendors, and investment of Rs. 3,000 Crore for establishment of the welfare board of unorganised workers has also been promised.
