Bengaluru: A delegation headed by Aam Aadmi Party’s Bangalore City President Dr. Satish has filed a complaint with the Election Commission on May 3 regarding illegal transfer of money in Rajajinagar Assembly constituency, Bangalore.
Speaking to mediapersons, Dr. Satish said, “Election irregularities are going on unabated in Rajajinagar. As polling day approaches, huge amount of illegal money is being transferred. Many laws are being violated like Election Code of Conduct Act 1961, Prevention of Money Laundering Act, Representatives of People’s Act 1951. The Enforcement Directorate should investigate soon and take strict action against the culprits.”
“Complaint has been filed against Rajajinagar Congress candidate Puttanna, Former Deputy Mayor Ranganna Raghuveer, Padmaraj, Vijayakumar, Krishnamurthy, Yashas, Ravi, Gili Venkatesh, Muniraj, Palanikanth, Rajanna. A complaint has been filed with Chief Returning Officer of Election Commission, Joint Chief Returning Officer and RO of Rajajinagar. This is a serious case. We have demanded that Congress candidate Puttanna should be disqualified from the election process,” said Dr. Satish.
