Mangaluru: Karnataka Assembly election is taking a curious turn every day. Amid this, Hindu fire-band Arun Kumar Puthila who is contesting as an independent contestant in Puttur of Dakshina Kannada District is in news everyday for one or the other reason.
On May 3, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the District, he uploaded a welcome post on his social media handle, Twitter. The tweet went on to get various comments and replies. This bothered BJP leaders too.
And now, Puthila is back in news by uploading a poster welcoming Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on his visit to Puttur.
The poster states, “Arun Kumar Puthila, an independent candidate of Puttur welcomes encounter specialist, Bulldozer Baba Yogi Adityanath to Hindu stronghold Puttur.
Replying to this post, one of the social media user commented that Yogi may come to Puttur only once, but if we elect Puthila he will be the Yogi for Puttur forever.
Anyhow, these actions by Puthila has surely become a nightmare for the already distraught BJP leaders with him contesting as independent candidate.
