Bengaluru: As the Congress Government comes to power, it has begun exposing the scams of BJP and complaints are now being filed against the BJP. The new minister M. B. Patil has said that he will investigate all the scams during the tenure of the BJP Government. Thus the PSI Recruitment Scam has come back to life.
Already more than 30 accused have been arrested in this case. Congress leaders had earlier alleged that many aspects remained uninvestigated. As a continuation of this, the Congress Government is keen to order a thorough investigation into the PSI recruitment scam.
ADGP Amrit Pal, who was arrested in this case, is still in jail. The investigation did not go to the next level after the arrest of Amrit Pal? The name of an influential minister of the then Government was heard in this case. Apart from a Congress Minister, allegations were also made against several BJP leaders. The charge sheet has already been submitted twice and the investigation is continuing. At this time, the new Government has prepared to speed up the investigation.
Another state-level scam is being revealed in the FIR registered on May 24 at Vidhana Soudha Police Station. There is a possibility that another scam will be revealed in the state like recruitment of PSI and teachers. An FIR has been registered in Vidhana Soudha Police Station regarding the illegality of the Ganga Welfare Scheme of the Ambedkar Development Corporation Board. The Government has decided to transfer it to CID soon.
Now only a complaint has been filed on the Ambedkar Development Corporation. But after being transferred to CID, the irregularities of Ganga Kalyan Yojana and other development corporations will also be investigated. The then CM B. S. Yeddyurappa informed the House that about Rs..13,000 Crore have been spent on the Ganga Kalyana Project.
