Hello again! I hope you remember me and my journey in the tech industry.
In my previous update, I mentioned that during our training, we were assigned to work in pairs on a project. As the training neared its end, our coordinator informed us that six of us would be divided into three teams of two, and we were given the opportunity to choose our partners. Additionally, we received separate problem statements to work on. To say the least, the challenge was more demanding than I had anticipated. We had to carefully consider solutions, system architecture, and the features to include. It was our responsibility to design everything and justify our choices. We were even tasked with designing the user interface. We divided the work among ourselves and brainstormed the most efficient approach.
The problem statement we received was to design a bicycle rental system inspired by platforms like Ola and Uber. The objective was to create a unique selling proposition that would appeal to potential clients. One of the major challenges was deciding which features to include in our demo and figuring out how to integrate Google Maps. Although the journey was initially daunting, looking back now, it was an incredibly rewarding and enriching experience. We learned so much from it. The presentation day arrived, and we had the opportunity to showcase our work to department heads and HR personnel. Personally, I think it went well. We faced unexpected questions that required spontaneous answers. It was a truly wonderful experience. I believe it’s important not to give up on such opportunities, as they build confidence and teach invaluable lessons that cannot be learned otherwise. We had to say farewell to our conference room, which had been our second home for the past six months. We were definitely going to miss all the fun times we had there.
After the training ended, we eagerly anticipated being assigned to a project. It took almost a month before I received news that I had been allocated to a maritime project. The project involved designing and implementing a system for feeding fishes in the ocean. It was an exciting and challenging project, to say the least.
Stay tuned for the next parts. Adios till then!!
