When culture, tradition and practice of marriage, childbirth, mehendi etc. vary from region to region to vivid religion and its belief, cremation of dead is no exceptional to the practice.
The most common form heard and seen based on our reaches include soil burial, coffin system, burning the body and ashes put into flowing river water. But apart from this worldwide people practice a mesmerising types in bidding a final good bye their beloved ones.

Sky Burial: It is system where the dead body is kept open in mountain like areas for the birds to eat. It is considered to be a process of sending their loved ones to heaven. This is a Tibetan Buddhist form of practice. The Tibetan sky burial is illegal in U. S. as it is considered to offend the feeling of others and or even effect the health of others.
Water Burial: Its practice is seen among the Monpa tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. The Monpa’s post death cut the body of the deceased into 108 pieces and immersed in the river. This tradition is allowed to be witnessed only by Tampa’s, the one who chop the body. As a defensive point of the practice there is a view that, Tampa’s believe that human body should be useful even after death.
The flowing of burnt ashes of the dead in the river too is categorised under the water burial system.
Famadihana: In this system, the corpse is taken out of the tomb once in every few years and re-wrapped. Additionally the people perform dance and play music on the practice of Famadihana. It is believed that the practice helps in speed decaying and making the body reach heaven quick. This practice is witnessed in Madagascar.
Cremation Beads: It is a decade-old practice that began in South Korea. A new system evolved in order to find a solution to ‘running out of space’ problem. Here the crated body is pressed like a bead jewellery and are laid in urns or bottles. As people feel their near ones are very close to them. This system has become a greatest business now in Korea.
Every soul shall taste death. But differences are in persuasion of life after death. For some, this life is the end of it where as for others there exists a life after death and so people with various cultural practices try to make the last rites of their beloved good based on their understanding of the same.
