Bengaluru: Congress, which saw an unprecedented victory in the state, aims to win more seats in the Lok Sabha Election.
The Congress, which has won Assembly elections in South India, is hoping to win more seats in Karnataka, and AICC Leaders are also said to have high hopes for Karnataka in the Lok Sabha elections. Therefore, it is the calculation of Congress leaders that there should be no hindrance to the guarantee scheme till the next Lok Sabha elections. In the meantime, it is said that instructions have been given to ensure that no disputes arise.
Ministers have already made statements in the textbook and cow slaughter controversy. It is said that the seniors of the party were upset with the actions of Congress Ministers and some leaders and approached the AICC. After this, it seems that the message of keeping quiet and tight lipped has been sent to the Congress camp. AICC has instructed Siddaramaiah and D. K. Shivakumar to stay away from the controversy till the end of this year.
Textbook revision should be implemented from the next year though. The message that the Lok Sabha elections should be over regardless of any amendment of the Act has reached the camp. It has been reported that the seniors of the state Congress have come forward to give a solution from the High Command level to the controversy that arose from the words of the Minister.
