The 4th edition of the NItte Film Festival started with movies showing how cinema has its own language. One of the movies screened was ‘Lotus Blooms’ by Prateek Sharma. The movie depicted how there’s always a solution or way out in times of distress, similar to how a lotus blooms out of the muddy water.
The audience received the movie well, showing how Mangaluru craves a well-crafted film. The silence had its own metaphors, which tied the whole movie together with less but adequate dialogues woven beautifully with the movie’s characters.
“Nurturing nature will always pay us back, this simple idea mixed with the realities of the life we live in made the movie a beautiful experience,” said one of the audience, who was looking forward to this film the most.
