Bengaluru: The schemes of Congress Government in Karnataka are making controversies and they are just refusing to die. As soon as the Shakti scheme was launched, a lady in Bagalakote lost Rs. 30,000 while travelling in the bus. And also the electricity bill of the houses across the state is reaching its height.
Amid this is another controversy that has left Congress Government embarrassed. The controversy is over Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s photo being printed on application form of Gruhalakshmi Scheme.
If you wonder, what’s the confusion, just check all over social media and you will find the answer. The netizens have the answer for this question. They reminded Congress of allegations made by the party against BJP three years during Covid times. They are reminding the Congress that this is the same Congress that ridiculed and questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi for printing his photo on PM Care Fund application. Trolls now have just lapped this up and questioning Congress on its hypocrisy.
Across social media, it has been witnessed that netizens have been asking what moral right does the Congress now have after history repeated itself.
Also, when this issue was at its peak, Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar had issued a statement that the form is not final and it will be reviewed. Whatever happened to that statement as there seems to be no follow up or rectification thereafter!
