The Galaxy M14, which we referred to as a “affordable 5G-enabled battery life monster,” will soon be offered in Malaysia. And it is cost-effective; Samsung intends to sell it in association with Lazada for RM 1,099, or roughly $236. Additionally, there is a technique to get the price even cheaper.
Starting June 24, only Lazada has begun selling the Galaxy M14 5G in Malaysia for RM 1,099. However, as of the time of this writing, potential customers can order from Lazada ahead of time and receive a 21% discount on the low-cost phone, bringing the cost down to RM 870 ($187).
The phone comes with a single memory configuration that includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable through microSD). Additionally, users of the Galaxy M14 5G can add up to 6GB of additional virtual RAM (for a total of up to 12GB) utilising RAM Plus. The gadget is available from Samsung in two shades: Blue and Dark Blue.
Excellent battery life and decent performance
The octa-core Exynos 1330 SoC powers the Galaxy M14 5G. Even if it’s not the best Exynos product Samsung has ever created, the chip delivers respectable performance levels for the price. The overall user interface (UI) can occasionally lag and become unresponsive, and the experience isn’t as fluid as what you’d get with a high-end processor. If you don’t raise the graphics settings above the default, though, game performance is more than enough.
Nevertheless, the Galaxy M14 5G’s battery life, which is made possible by a 6,000mAh unit with 25W fast charging, is its most striking feature. The phone can survive more than two days on a single charge, which is excellent, as we noted in our Galaxy M14 review. Few phones can make that claim.
A 6.6-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD, a 13MP selfie camera, and a triple rear-facing camera array with a 50MP primary, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor are among the further specifications. Samsung pre-installed One UI 5.1 Core on the Galaxy M14 5G and promises to provide four years of security updates for the smartphone.
