New Delhi: Jio will soon revolutionise Internet with affordable ‘Jio Bharat V2’ 4G Phone, which is the cheapest 4G phone of the country.
Jio, the telecom giant, is being credited with revolutionising the internet landscape in India and significantly reducing call rates. Now, Jio is set to make yet another ground-breaking move by launching the most affordable 4G phone in the country, the ‘Jio Bharat V2,’ priced at an astonishingly low of Rs. 999. This move positions it as the cheapest internet-enabled 4G phone available in India, aiming to bridge the digital divide and empower millions of people with affordable connectivity.
The ‘Jio Bharat V2’ smartphone is part of Jio’s ambitious plan to provide 4G internet services to the existing 250 million feature phone (2G) users across the country. With the introduction of this affordable device, Jio India intends to enable seamless 4G connectivity for users who are currently limited to basic 2G services. The beta trial for the Jio Bharat phones is scheduled to commence on July 7, with one million units being deployed for testing purposes.
Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio, expressed his commitment to bridging the digital divide and ensuring that technology is accessible to every Indian. He highlighted that despite the significant advancements in technology, there are still a staggering 250 million mobile phone users in India who rely on outdated 2G devices. Jio aims to attract these users, who are currently “captive” to 2G networks, by offering affordable 4G alternatives through the Jio Bharat V2 phone.
In addition to providing affordable connectivity, Jio also announced attractive monthly plans for Jio Bharat V2 users. The plans offer significant advantages over those offered by other telecom operators, including 30 percent cheaper rates and seven times more data. Users can avail themselves of unlimited calls for just Rs 123 per month, along with a generous data allowance of 14GB. This plan presents a compelling and cost-effective option for users compared to the offerings of rival operators, with Akash Ambani emphasizing the value and affordability that Jio aims to bring to the market.
With the launch of the ‘Jio Bharat V2’ 4G phone, Jio is poised to once again disrupt the telecom industry in India. The company’s commitment to providing affordable connectivity, coupled with its innovative offerings and extensive network infrastructure, has made it a transformative force in the Indian telecommunications sector. As Jio continues to expand its reach and empower more people with affordable internet access, the digital future of India is set to become brighter than ever before.
