The pop artist Ariana Grande has addressed the daily body-shaming remarks she receives in a three-minute video posted to her TikTok account. The 29-year-old discussed her prior “unhealthiest version” as well as mental health. To learn more about what the singer stated, keep reading.
Hello everyone,” Grande said at the beginning of the video. I’ve made my coffee and will soon be leaving for work. Then she continued, “I don’t do this frequently. It bothers me. I’m not very good. However, I merely wanted to address your concerns over my body and briefly discuss what it means to be human.
No matter what, she said, “I think we should be softer and less comfortable commenting on people’s bodies. There are various ways to express appreciation for someone or to disregard something you find objectionable. The singer and actress continued, “I believe we should cooperate and simply strive to make and keep each other safer.”
“There are a variety of techniques to appear good and attractive. And the physique to which you have been comparing my present body was, in my opinion, the least healthy. When I looked the way you would consider healthy, but that actually wasn’t my healthy, I was taking a lot of anti-depressants, drinking on them, eating terribly, and at the lowest point of my life, Grande said in the TikTok video.
The Grammy-winning singer acknowledged that she shouldn’t have to explain this, but she believed that by being transparent and vulnerable, “something good” might result from the situation. The second point is that you never know what someone is going through, so even if you’re coming from a kind or caring place, Grande said that person is likely working through it or has a support system that they are working with.
“I just wanted to send you some love and let you know that no matter what stage you’re in, you’re lovely. I’m sending you guys a lot of love and I believe that no matter what you’re going through, your weight, how you wear cosmetics these days, the cosmetic operations you’ve done (or not), or anything else, you are all still gorgeous. I just wanted to express my admiration for you and my thoughts. I’m sending you a lot of love and wishing you a really lovely day,” she said at the end of the video.
