Bengaluru: Congress means corruption, misrule, nepotism, divide and rule policy, injustice, corruption, and iniquity. Hence, it must be removed from the roots permanently, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Speaking at the campaign for Yalahanka BJP candidate S. R. Vishwanath in Yalahanka and Rajanakunte as part of the ‘Jayavahini’ Yatra on April 23, he said that the BJP has launched the ‘Jayavahini’ yatra from Yalahanka which has the distinction of electing the BJP candidate by the biggest margin and Bengaluru’s number one constituency. This is because of Vishwanath who has been serving the people for the last 15 years, he said.
CM said that the Siddaramaiah’s regime between 2013 and 2018 witnessed various scandals including police recruitment, question paper leakage, teachers’ recruitment, and the redo of 843 acres worth Rs. 8000 Crore. The then CM Siddaramaiah looted the entire state including Bengaluru City. Removal of the Congress Party is like removal of the corruption, he said.
Bommai said that the Congress Party has sown the seeds of hate in the society to divide the people based on caste and religion. The guarantee card given by the Congress Party is like a lifeless visiting card and it’s useless. It is guaranteed only up to the election and useless after the election. I am launching this yatra from the land of Nada Prabhu Kempegowda to remove the Congress Party from the roots, he asserted.
