Bengaluru: The BJP Central High Command, which had so far set Target 150, has now positioned a new task for Karnataka BJP by setting a target of ‘Mission 50’, quickly. The National unit has told the state unit that the target has to be reached by striving day and night.
The Karnataka election is very important for the BJP High Command to win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Thus, deciding to bring the party back to power in Karnataka, the Central High Command has directly taken into its hand the election management. Everything is on; from
the selection of candidates to the campaign.
The BJP has tried to strengthen the Mandya District with the support of its independent MP Sumalatha. This time it has calculated to win some constituencies in Old Mysuru region. The BJP has now almost reached 70 seats as part of Mission 150. The BJP has come to conclusion through conducting both the internal survey, and private survey.
Meanwhile, BJP is trying hard to win Varuna by polarising Lingayat community votes. The party has prepared a list of constituencies where it has secured second place in 2018 husting, in which it is learnt that Varuna too is included. Further, this is the reason why 73 new faces are given ticket this time around. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has told the leaders of the state that the experiment has been conducted to bring about a change
through newcomers instead of the consistently fielding losing candidates. Thus, Amir Shah has embarked on new project for state unit, Mission 50. It has been asked to give more attention to this region through tour of the Central leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to influence voters.
The Ground Report has been obtained from the booth level to strategise and reach the target. The party through the star campaigners has also planned to attract the voters. Daily Ground Report is being to enable the BJP to win these crucial 50 constituencies. The target was discussed at a high level meeting chaired by Amit Shah.
According to party sources it is understood that the Former Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa is talking about winning 130 seats now on the basis of this new target, Mission 50. BSY, who earlier was saying that the party will win 140 to 150 seats, has now changed his stance and stating the figure of 130 seats as a clear majority. As the BJP now is confirmed to win in 70 seats, the state party leaders have been assigned a constituency each, which makes it 50 constituencies for 50 leaders to achieve the goal. However, only the magic number 13 of May will reveal whether the BJP would succeed or not in achieving Mission 50.
