Bengaluru: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s road show got a great response, the Gujarat model strategy has started in Karnataka too.
In Bengaluru city, the BJP has resorted to the strategy of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. A big Road Show which was organised in Ahmedabad is now being done in Bengaluru.
Last December 1, Modi conducted a mega road show of 50 km targeting 13 constituencies of Ahmedabad. A mega road show of the same type will now be held in Bengaluru after the BJP got a huge benefit politically from the Ahmedabad road show. This time BJP is trying to increase from 15 seats to 20 seats in the city.
The road show will be held on May 6 in two stages on the same day. Around 8 km in the morning, 29.4 km in the afternoon, the route map has been prepared for the road show, while the PM Modi mega road show will be held in 13 constituencies in the city.
Like Gujarat, Modi had tried this strategy when there were three or four days to the elections. Modi’s charisma in the capital is BJP’s formula for victory and BJP is planning to hunt for votes through Namo. This visit of PM Modi is expected to boost the spirits of BJP candidates who are actively campaigning to win the elections.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was in Karnataka on his two-day visit held a 5.6-kilometre road show in North Bengaluru on April 29. He covered Magadi Road, Nice junction and Sumanahalli in the city and huge number of supporters were seen on both sides of the road during his road show.
Traffic snarls to be witnessed due to the roadshow. Police to issue traffic advisory to people to avoid certain roads from where the Prime Minister’s convoy would pass through. Elaborate security arrangements to be made throughout the route from where Modi would take out his roadshow. As per the weather forecast, the city to expect rainfall for another three days which might play a spoilsport for the road show.
