Mangaluru: In a post-poll incident car, the Mulky-Moodabidri Congress candidate’s car was stoned allegedly by the workers of BJP May 10 late evening.
According to the Police of Moodushedde Police outpost on May 10 evening, BJP workers had gathered in Moodushedde and at this time a car belonging to Mithun Rai and his supporters was passing through. BJP workers started shouting pro-BJP slogans. At this time Mithun Rai and his supporters stopped the car and shouted pro Congress slogans.
After the verbal exchanges between the two groups, stones were pelted on Mithun Rai’s car, and two activists sustained minor injuries. Immediately, the police reached the spot and dispersed the two groups.
