Bengaluru: The Reddy Jana Sangha has urged the Congress leadership to give more representation to its community members in the Ministry.
In a letter written to the Congress leaders, the Reddy Jana Sangha office bearers have said that there are 12 MLAs from Reddy Community and hence the community must be suitably represented in the Ministry.
“Reddy community is known for doing yeoman service to the society in all walks of life. The Reddy community has also been working to protect the culture, tradition and values of the society. In this background, it is in the fitness of things that the Reddy community is represented adequately in the Ministry,” the letter stated.
The 12 MLAs belonging to the Reddy community are Ramalinga Reddy, H. K. Patil, N. S. Subba Reddy, G. S. Patil Rona, C. S. Nagagouda, J. T. Patil, Sharanabasappa Darshanapur, Hampanagouda Badarli, Nara Bharath Reddy, Kona Reddy, Prakash Kolivada and Channa Reddy Patil.
Reddy Jana Sangha President Jayarama Reddy further stated that every MLA is knowledgeable and experienced in public life and capable of doing service to the society.
“Our appeal to your good self is that our community must be adequately represented in the ministry given our contribution to the society,” Jayaram Reddy added.
