It is not possible to give guarantee scheme to everyone like throwing guarantee cards door to door during elections. The people of the state have a lot of expectations from our Government. We will fulfill all the promises made in the elections. We are ready to implement the guarantee scheme. But the Opposition is creating confusion for no reason. We gave the guarantee, not them. A guarantee plan takes time to fulfill, he said and added that preparations have already been made for the implementation of the plan.
Guarantee schemes cannot be given to income tax payers, and government employees. Some others have said that they don’t want guarantee schemes. Shouldn’t the Government make rules for such people? We will bring law to those who say no. He said that complete information will be available in the next Cabinet. In some places they are getting electricity directly without metre. They should be given metres first and brought into the mainstream, he noted.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he would give Rs. 15 Lakh to every citizens. Has anyone had a discussion? It’s not that we don’t want give a guarantee. It can’t just be given like that. There may be some delay. But we will definitely implement the guarantee plan. We are doing a survey. The Government also has a list. The question is how to implement it, he said.
At the same time, Satish Jarakiholi clarified that the guarantee of free bus travel for women will be applicable only to the women of Karnataka and not to outsiders.
Minister Satish Jarakiholi, who arrived in his home District Belagavi for the first time after taking oath as a Minister in the state Government, visited Nishkamamantapa in Bailur Village of Channammanakittur Taluk and was blessed and honoured by Swamiji.
Responding to criticisms Dy CM D. K. Shiva Kumar said that did BJP put Rs. 15 lakh in the account? BJP promised to waive the loan of Rs. 1 lakh, what happened?, he questioned. He said that he should talk about the promises he had made earlier.
Talking to the mediapersons in the city about the criticism of the Congress’s five guarantees, he said, “It is 15 days since the birth of the child, clothes should be sewn and measurements should be given.”
