Mangaluru: In aid of specially-abled children and Maasashan to the needy senior artistes with tagline Music for Peace, Arunya Foundation in association with Das Kudla Events presents Coastal Karnataka Mega Musical Reality Show, Singers Premier League (SPL 23): Karavali Koyal Champions 2023, a Premier League for singing first-time ever in the world which will be held on May 31 and June 1 at Kudmul Rangarao Townhall here in the City.
On May 31 at 9.04 am Uday Guruji will inaugurate the event by lighting the lamp. After that the League round or the first round of Singers Premier League (SPL 23) will be held.
SPL 23 planning began last November, and 453 singers across the state participated in audition and through mega auditions, 72 participants were shortlisted. They will contest under 9 teams for the champion trophy.
Meanwhile, artistes are doing trials in the presence of Chief Coordinator and music artistes since May 29.
Senior Social Worker Suresh Ballal, Consultant Ayurveda Physician, Sri Vedamaayu Ayurvedic Hospital Dr. Keshavraj, Transplant Co-ordinator (SOTTO) Wenlock Hospital Mangaluru Padma Venoor, Managing Director Verito Media Private Limited Srinivasa Pejathaya, Janardhan Babu of Doddamane Appu Yuva Sena Mangaluru, Cine Playback Singer and Programme Chief Coordinator Rameshchandra will be the Chief Guest.
A camp to register for Organ donation and eye donation will begin on the day and will continue on June 1 too.
Cine Playback Singer Dr. Rameshchandra will be the Chief Programme Coordinator of SPL 23. Vikram K., Managing Trustee, Arunya Foundation, Sadashivdas, Das Kudla Events, Srinivasa Pejathaya, Secretary, Arunya Foundation and Narayana Raj, Member, Team Panel will be the forces to be reckoned with behind the organisation of the programme.
