Kollam Sudhi, a popular cine artiste and television personality, tragically lost his life in a car accident in Thrissur. The mishap occurred in the early hours of June 5 when the car carrying Sudhi and three other artistes collided with a truck in Kaipamangalam.
Sudhi and the mimicry specialists were on their way home from Vatakara when the disaster occurred. Sudhi was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to a private hospital in Kodungallur. He died in the hospital as a result of his injuries. The other three people involved in the crash are being treated right now.
Kollam Sudhi was well-known for his comedy roles in various television programmes and had also made appearances in a few movies. His untimely demise has been mourned by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The loss of Sudhi leaves a void in the entertainment industry, where he had made a significant impact with his talent and humour.
Kollam Sudhi was born on January 1, 1984, in Kollam, Kerala as Sudhi, Kollam Sudi, or Sudhi Chetta. He was well-known for his remarkable mimicking abilities, especially his impersonations of actor Jagadeesh. He rose to prominence as a result of his appearances on the Star Magic show and as a guest on a number of Malayalam comedy shows. Sudhi made his cinematic debut in Kanthari, directed by Ajmal, in 2015.
He went on to appear in several other films, including Swargathile Katturumbu Kollam, Escape, Kuttanadan Marppappa, and Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan. While he had a presence in both movies and television, Sudhi garnered immense love and appreciation for his work on the small screen.
