Bengaluru: As the Congress Government announces the guarantee schemes, the people of Karnataka are lapping it up in a comical way.
As soon as Shakti Scheme was implemented many netizens have created memes, videos and thus trolled Government.
After the implementation of Shakti Scheme, one of the journalists is seen asking an old lady as to where does she wish to go as the bus travel has been made free from June 11. Will it be daughter’s house or temple visit? And the boss lady is seen answering that she would go cleaning and household works. This video has not only made the journalist but viewers laugh too. Some are even saying that it is suggestive of Karnataka State would be relegated to dustbin in the days to come (Woman says, “Kasakke hogtene” which literally means “will go to dirt”)
In another meme a lady calls her friend and asks shall we go to Byadagi to buy chilli then to Dharwad to purchase pedha and to Ilkal to buy saree then to Mysuru to pick Mysore Pak and to Davanagere to have famous masala dosa etc. This troll meme is one of the highest circulated memes in the social media.
Another meme shows a lady calling her neighbour for a chat and suggesting that there is a sunny day let us talk travelling in the bus as no one will disturb them.
There is also a witty and sarcastic meme that is being circulated among netizens where JD (S) is being trolled as in the meme it is seen that the woman who holds paddy on the head in the party symbol, gives it to Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumarswamy and boards bus.
All in all, hope sarcasm and glum picture in videos doesn’t rub on to reality and the Government Guarantee Schemes go on to help the public in Karnataka.
