We send energy out into the world and get energy back as we go about our daily lives. Energy, which vibrates and is sensed by others, makes up our thoughts, bodies, and souls. These vibrations affect our own energy reserves as they reverberate within us.
This explains why we may feel warm, at ease, and joyful around some people while feeling cold, uneasy, and melancholy around others. We carry that energy about with us, and it has an effect on not only us but also everyone else with whom we come into contact. Positive energy can increase our feelings of wellbeing, eliminate anxiety, and enhance communication. Conflict, animosity, and feelings of discord are brought on by negative energy. You should aim to draw positive energy and repel negative energy.
By increasing your energy level and surrounding oneself with uplifting vibrations, you can achieve this. You might not realise how easy it is. Start by using these nine daily principles to raise your vibration within and start receiving uplifting energy.
1. Be aware of the energy you are giving off
If you are exuding a lot of negative energy, you can’t expect to attract positive energy. Consider the vibes that people experience when they are around you. Do you radiate happiness, serenity, and peace? Or do you tend to be more pessimistic?
Your relationships will be impacted by negative energy. Even if it’s not overt, your attitude towards other people will usually come back to you. What kind of a first impression do you leave?
You’re probably doing a fantastic job of radiating positive energy if you have a way of naturally attracting others to you and they actively seek you out. If people shun you and ignore your help, your vibration is trapped at a low, unfavourable level. Concentrate your efforts on the good.
2. Change the way you think
It’s not always easy to quit thinking negatively. It’s simple to allow yourself to become cynical or appear uninterested. However, you must let the positive, not the negative, lead you if you want to attract wonderful things. In the words of the Dalai Lama, “See the positive side, the potential, and make an effort.” Make a conscious effort to shift your ideas from negative to positive.
You may, for example, modify the statement “I am having a hard time adjusting to this new situation” to “I know I will face challenges with this new situation, but I am capable of coming up with solutions to problems and I know I will adjust to these changes.” Don’t let yourself become lost in gloomy thoughts. Stop focusing on the negative and hunting for bad news. Negative thoughts should be replaced with upbeat yet realistic statements that motivate you to act.
3. Cut off negative influences
Negative energy can interfere with your sense of wellbeing and rob you of joy and contentment. These unfavourable forces might affect your life in the form of people, places, or objects. There can be persons in your life who are detrimental to your general happiness. Perhaps you feel depressed by their frequent criticism, or you find yourself adopting some of their poor behaviours.
Eliminate these harmful influences, then start building the life you want. Search your life for the bad influences. Some of them may be absolutely avoidable or possible to be removed, which is a definite approach to get rid of that effect. Work to restrict your mental and emotional exposure to folks who are a permanent presence.
4. Make your circle bigger
Make sure to start spending time with positive influences while you strive to reduce your exposure to negative ones. Be in the company of uplifting, accomplished, and kind people. Spend time with people that bring good energy, and be sure to cultivate and safeguard your relationships.
Bring your own positive energy into the gathering to assist the group develop a positive synergy. Look for people who will always be honest with you and tell you the truth, but never with malice or a desire to undermine you.
5. Practise kindness and compassion
Even seemingly insignificant acts of kindness can have a big impact on both the giver and the receiver. According to research, those who are kind and compassionate towards others report higher levels of life satisfaction, greater physical and mental health, and more solid interpersonal connections. Giving to others sets up a positive feedback loop where the more you give, the better you feel.
Kindness and compassion are more likely to be exhibited by those who get their benefits. There are numerous simple ways to be nice, including leaving a sticky note with a motivational message for someone to find, buying the person in queue behind you a cup of coffee or just smiling at a stranger as you pass. All of this promotes happiness and showers you with good vibes.
6. Develop thankfulness
Take some time each day to reflect on your blessings. You can help yourself let go of negative feelings and replace them with uplifting thoughts by finding modest methods to express thankfulness. By listing five things for which you are grateful each morning, you can practise gratitude. Then consider at least one individual for whom you are grateful to be alive.
Try keeping a thankfulness diary where you can quickly make a list of the tiny pleasures and things that make you feel content and happy. Remind yourself of all the negative experiences you have had. It will inspire you to continue on when you realise how far you’ve come and how many challenging storms you’ve survived.
7. Discover your inner strength
Fear, self-doubt, and insecurity all kill positive energy. These unfavourable emotions sap your self-assurance and make it harder for you to overcome difficulties. But through conquering adversity, you have grown resilient; this is your inner strength.
Put an end to your critical inner voice. These undermine your sense of value and limit your possibilities. Utilise your inner superhero to empower yourself. Realise that you are powerful and capable of handling whatever that comes your way.
8. Align your present and future selves
Spending time, effort, and money on certain things will affect you long after the present. Your future self will be shaped by all of these decisions. You need to start making choices that will lead you to become the kind of person you want to be, with the work and relationships you want to have, if you want positive energy to flow through you. Think about the following:
What do you long for most in life?
What goals do you have for the future?
Now picture how the life you desire feels. In this ideal future, who are you? What do you have to say? Start to bring your present self and your desired future self into alignment. You’ll feel inspired to take charge of more areas of your life as you begin to take action towards creating the reality you desire. Your ability to construct a favourable reality increases as you conduct more positive activities.
9. Make sincere efforts
In business, it is typically assumed that parties are interacting with one another in good faith. We are all aware that we ought to be fair to one another. Unfortunately, when we connect with each other on a personal or even professional level, we often fail to uphold these standards.
Make it a point to be respectful and kind to everyone you encounter. People will treat you well if you are kind to them. But more than that, when someone wrongs you, don’t take offence or respond angrily.
It’s possible that they’re having a rough day or that they simply reacted without thinking. Nothing will be achieved by highlighting the negative. Act in good faith by being kind and cordial to everyone, even if they aren’t acting in the same way. You will receive positive energy in return for your politeness.
