The cat had fallen into a 40-ft-deep well in Mucchlukodu Subrahmanya Temple located in the outskirts of Udupi on June 18, when others’ attempt failed to rescue the cat, the seer himself got into the well using a rope and placed the cat in the bucket. As he asked people waiting above the well to pull the bucket, the cat jumped out of the bucket and fell into the water again. Then the seer climbed up each ring of the well by holding the cat in his hand and saved it.
