Bengaluru: The BBMP is planning to file a complaint against former MLA Nandish Reddy for allegedly obstructing the removal of encroachment on Rajakaluve in the city. I have suggested to file a complaint against former MLA Nandish Reddy. I have suggested to file a criminal case in Mahadevpura police station, said BBMP Chief Commissioner Tushar Girinath.
He said that anyone who obstructs the operation has been instructed to file a complaint.
On June 19, the officials of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palika (BBMP) bulldozed the club house and swimming pool in a villa in Fern City layout of Mahadevpur Zone, Doddanekundi, and the residents also tried to stop the officials from demolition. The former MLA Nandish Reddy took away the JCB key and obstructed the eviction. Therefore, BBMP has decided to file a complaint.
The bulldozer will roar again. Illegal encroachment will be cleared at Doddanekundi and Panattur. The Corporation has received a report of illegal encroachment and more than 100 areas of 8 zones under the Corporation are planned for encroachment.
On June 20 there was an evacuation operation by the corporation in two parts. There are 600 illegal places in the corporation’s target. The Government has given a 15-day deadline to clear the encroachment. Out of 600, 110 places have a restraining order from the court.
