Bengaluru: With just a few months to go for the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which lost the state Assembly elections, is gearing up to bounce back in Karnataka with the Lok Sabha elections.
Under the title Mera Booth Sabse Majboot (my booth is stronger than other booths), preparations are being made to campaign at the booth level in all the 28 seats.
Sources said that the Mandal office-bearers and heads of various morchas will reach out to people at around 300 centres in the state. Door-to-door visits will be held for the next one week from June 27.
Many of the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be explained to the people during the visit. The activists inform people about the Central Government’s flagship schemes, including distributing 5 kg of rice free of cost to each person. The booth-level campaign will mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nine years in power.
A meeting of district workers will be held across the state with an aim to win all the 28 Lok Sabha seats in the state during the Lok Sabha elections. Modi will directly address party workers online.
