Vande Bharat Express (VBE) is a semi-high speed, stainless steel, 16-coach train operated by Indian Railways. It is the first indigenously built train set in India. The train was designed and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai. The VBE is named after the patriotic song “Vande Mataram”.
The VBE has a top speed of 160 km/h (99 mph) and can run on both conventional and electrified tracks. It is equipped with a number of features that make it a modern and comfortable train, including:
* LED lighting
* Bio-toilets
* Passenger information system
* CCTV cameras
* Automatic sliding doors
* Onboard Wi-Fi
The Indian Government plans to introduce more VBE trains on other routes in the future.
The Vande Bharat Express is a symbol of India’s technological progress and its commitment to providing safe, comfortable, and affordable rail travel to its citizens. It is also a source of national pride, as it is the first indigenously built train set in India.
