Human beings are naturally born with so many blessings. One among them is sleep. To be healthy both physically and mentally, one has to get enough sleep. That is 7-8 hours a day.
Unfortunately, a trend has begun among the youth wherein they become night owls. They won’t sleep unless its 3 to 4.00 am in the morning.
Health researchers often say that if a person doesn’t get enough food continuously for three days he won’t die, but if a person is deprived of sleep continuously for three days chances of his death is very high.
In this statement we can understand how important a sleep is for a human being.
A human body naturally is in need of rest, that’s nothing but a sleep. Sleeping is like charging the entire body. Sleep is necessary for the body to work perfectly. The entire system inside the body only works perfectly when it has gotten enough sleep.
By depriving body of the sleep one can also have many health issues like, severe headaches, vomiting, indigestion and weakness many other. Not getting enough sleep is inviting diseases.
The youth especially 16- 25 aged have normalised waking up till 3.00 am in the morning. Working late, scrolling through social media entire night. Wasting time for no reason has become new habits among the youth.
A healthy sleep schedule will have great impact on the lifestyle. If a person doesn’t get enough sleep he will be anxious and inactive throughout the day. He/she won’t have enough energy to be active.
For example if a student who’s regular to collage doesn’t get enough sleep, he won’t be able to focus on anything.
Also there are high chances of falling into bad habits. It’s so important to have habitual healthy sleep cycle.
As we are in 21st century, there are many things which are unhealthy to our health. But let’s not invite disease because of sleep deprivation. Many youth are suffering from insomnia. Some people can sleep anywhere anytime. But there are people who takes pills to sleep. We might not know, being able to sleep is very big blessing which many of us don’t acknowledge.
