Bengaluru: Finally, the Muhurtha’ has been set for the submission of the application regarding the implementation of the Gruhalakshmi Yojana, which is one of the Congress guarantee schemes. Minister for Women and Family Welfare Lakshmi Hebbalkar said that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will launch the project at the Banquet Hall of Vidhanasoudha on July 19 at 5.30 pm.
Earlier, Lakshmi said that Congress High Command leaders will launch it on July 17 at 5.00 pm.
Speaking at the press conference on July 15 she said that a letter has been written to senior leaders seeking time in this regard. However, now the High Command leaders have said that they will not attend this event. As this was a Government project, the High Command rejected the request of the state leaders.
Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar said that as already mentioned about depositing money in the accounts of the beneficiaries, the money will be paid into the accounts from August 16 or 17. This scheme application can be obtained from Karnataka One, Gram One and Bapuji Seva Kendras. She said that those who have APL, BPL, Antyodaya card are the beneficiaries.
Beneficiary can take her and husband’s Aadhaar card and apply. However, on the same occasion, Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar said that the husband should not be filing GST or IT returns. Those who do not have Aadhaar link can take bank passbook. We will upload that passbook in the software. It goes to Tahasildar, and ZPCEO for permission. She said that we will deliver the permission certificate to their homes after passed by Tahasildar.
People should go to service centers with mobiles which are linked to Addhar card. There should be same name in passbook and ration card. There is no time limit to be a beneficiary of Grilahakshmi Yojana.
Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar said that 1.28 Crore families are eligible for this scheme. People have to go at that fixed time. Timings are fixed from 7.00 am to 5.09 pm. Lakshmi Hebbalkar said that those who could not go at the scheduled time will be given an opportunity to go after 5.00 pm.
She said we are appointing two representatives for every 1000 population. Among them there will be one female and one male representative.
Representatives would assist people to enrolling the scheme and it will be completely free service. If middlemen are found, complain to anyone asking for money along with the representatives of the people. Hebbalkar said that we will take strict action against such people.
