Bengaluru: In connection with the suicide case of Aditya Prabhu, an engineering student in PES University, the parents have insisted that a case be filed against the college management and an investigation be carried out. On the other hand, the PES University Management Board has issued a press release stating that the allegations leveled against our university are baseless.
Aditya’s parents, friends and organisations staged a protest on the ground of Freedom Park in Bengaluru calling #justiceforadityaprabhu and demanded justice for the student’s death. During the protest, Girish Prabhu, father of student Aditya Prabhu, said that action should be taken against those involved in this. The protocol has to change. Neither the student nor the parent should be treated like this. We demand that those who have done wrong should be suspended. He said that we have met the DCP and complained about this.
Aditya Prabhu’s mother Asha said that the police investigation is going on and the truth should come out. We have not received any response from the college after the incident. On the morning of July 17, Aditya Prabhu had come with a mobile phone with a matter related to the examination he was going to attend. Parents were informed as per university protocol. It was informed that the incident will be looked into by a committee.

No one can even stop them since they are private universities. It’s high time when government inclusion is now required in their working too .
