Bengaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to hold a ‘Voters’ Chetna Mahaabhiyan’ across Karnataka as part of its preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. Through this, more than 58,000 booths in the state will be reached and people will be connected.
This was stated by Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje at a press conference at the State BJP Office Jagannath Bhavan here.
“The people of the country have reposed immense faith in the leadership of Narendra Modi and the BJP and supported him in the last two Lok Sabha elections. In 2024 too, Modi will get a historic victory. In this context, the party’s National President J. P. Nadda. Preparations have been made for the Mahaabhiyan as per Nadda’s direction. Under this, the revision of electoral rolls in each Lok Sabha constituency will be taken up on priority,” she said.
“A separate committee comprising three members each will be formed in each District and in each Assembly constituency. There will also be a committee at the Shakti Kendra level. A workshop on the campaign will also be held. MPs, MLAs and office-bearers of the District are in constant touch with the BLOs appointed by the Election Commission and will be involved in this task,” she said.
