Janhvi Kapoor has spoken up about her ‘first ever serious lover’. The Bollywood actress recently took part in Swipe Ride, where she was up about her first “serious relationship” as well as other topics. Janhvi disclosed that the reason her romance failed was that the boy’s parents, the late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, did not like him. But Kapoor learned from it that getting parental consent makes things simpler.
Janhvi Kapoor said, “My first ever serious boyfriend was that same ‘chup-chup ke milenge’ (meet in hiding) ‘jhooth bol bol ke’ (we will lie about each other) all of that and but unfortunately that relationship ended because I had to lie so much and mom and dad were like ‘No you will never have a boyfriend’… very conservative. And that’s when I realised having your parents approval and transparency with them makes everything so easy. It makes you feel so much more confident about your decisions.”
On the job front, Janhvi Kapoor most recently appeared in “Bawaal.” Varun Dhawan and the actress appeared together on-screen in Nitesh Tiwari’s movie. The audience’s reactions to the film, which debuted on Prime Video, were conflicting.
‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ is the next project in the works for Janhvi. ‘Ulajh’ will also include her. ‘Devara’ marks Kapoor’s Telugu language debut. The ‘Dhadak’ actress will collaborate on a project for the first time with ‘RRR’ actor Jr NTR. Saif Ali Khan will also appear in the Koratala Siva-directed film “Devara.”
