Zoom has introduced a new “Notes” tool to improve productivity and expedite online meetings. This ground-breaking technology eliminates the need to hop between Zoom and external note-taking apps by enabling users to create, share, and collaboratively edit text documents in real-time during video sessions.
The user-friendly interface was underlined by Darin Brown, Head of Productivity Applications at Zoom. He said, “We wanted to deliver a clear user experience that allows users to generate agendas and notes while remaining within the Zoom platform instead of jumping to external content management solutions. In and outside of meetings, creating and sharing collaborative and personal notes with Notes is simple.
The newest function of Zoom, “Notes,” provides a set of strong tools intended to speed up online meetings and increase productivity. Users may easily create and share content within Zoom Meetings thanks to real-time collaboration features, enabling lively conversations during video conferences.
Additionally, “Notes” expands its capability to include agenda generation, enabling users to create and beforehand distribute meeting agendas to participants. Zoom users can immediately send their meeting notes to those who could utilize them after the meeting is over. Users can start new notes during ongoing meetings and retrieve existing ones from the in-meeting navigation bar thanks to the user-friendly layout, which ensures simple navigation. “Notes” is a useful addition because it offers a variety of editing features, such as font styles, bullet points, color selections, image and link embedding, and auto-saving functionality.
