Bengaluru: Koppal district in-charge Shivaraj Tangadagi, who is also the Minister for Backward Classes Welfare, stated that every post in BJP is for sale and no tender has been made for the position of the leader of the opposition yet.
Responding to the media’s question about Chaitra Kundapur, who has been arrested in the case of defrauding many people to give BJP ticket, the minister said earlier that his own party’s MLA Basanagowda Patil Yatnal had claimed of Rs 2,500 crores for the post of chief minister and Rs 80 crores for getting the post of minister had been finalised. Now it has been confirmed after Chaitra’s arrest. It has now come out that seven to eight crores of money have been earmarked for the position of MLA. He said that tickets of Lok Sabha members of that party are also for sale.
Since the tender was not called, the leader of the opposition has not been selected. He quipped that whoever bids the most in the tender can get the post of Leader of the Opposition.
There is no loss for Congress from the BJP and JDS alliance. Instead, Congress will benefit from the alliance of those parties. JDS leaders who claim to be a secular party are ready to join hands with the communal party. He said that the people will teach these two parties a proper lesson.
Drought declaration and relief has been delayed due to issues in the central government’s Drought Management Manual 2020 standards.
