Bengaluru: “Kumaraswamy, who is criticizing my name on the issue of IT raid, is not even a representative of the Income Tax Department. However, they are talking,” retorted DCM DK Shivakumar.
On Saturday, DCM Shivakumar replied to a question about former Chief Minister Kumaraswamy’s allegations regarding the IT raid near his Sadashivanagar residence.
“Let whoever accuses do whatever they want. Let the revenue department officials publish their statement after the raid, investigation is over. Then I will respond. Neither Kumaraswamy, BJP leaders nor Revenue Department representatives are accusing me. Kumaraswamy has already said that I will go to Tihar Jail. He said what he was going to do through that.
When asked whether the IT raids that will take place in the state will be motivated by Kumaraswamy and the BJP, he said, “I will not say anything on this matter now. What happened in Yeddyurappa’s time earlier? What have they got then? Everything is in the records. “Let’s talk after the Income Tax Department officials release the document,” he said.
