Bengaluru: Both the BJP and Congress were confident that they’d be the single largest party by crossing the halfway mark. However, they both seem to be wrong at the moment.
As the day began, it looked as though the Congress and BJP had been playing see-saw in the park. But eventually, the Congress started getting heavier on the see-saw.
An anti-incumbency wave was expected against the BJP but wave appears to be subsiding. While the Congress enjoys leads in more seats than the BJP, the saffron party has refused to give up and is slowly witnessing a growth in leads.
Moreover, the exit poll results of a majority of the exit poll providers are turning out to be false. In certain constituencies, the Congress is leading with a marginal number of votes.
However, it is too early to decide upon which party is going to win. But one thing is certain, none of the parties will have it easy this time. Trends would be more concrete by 12 pm.
