Are you a hoarder of jewellery, make up and accessories? Are you always organising your dressing table, yet it seems messy? Let us look at a few tips to have a mess free dressing table.
First, declutter everything and keep the table clean.
Next make a few points on what you use every day.
Invest in some boxes to store, let the boxes be transparent, that would help you find the jewellery or make up you are looking for.
Buy a lazy Susan, one of the handiest organisers. Easy to keep all your products that you regularly use and also looks neat on the table.
I put my chains in transparent pouches and keep the pouches in see through boxes, which keeps the chains free of dust and detangled.
For stud earring and finger ringers I use boxes that are specially designed to store them. Easy to store and clutter free.
I keep my lipsticks and nail colours in acrylic lipstick holders, pretty looking as well as organised.
Drawer trays are another good investment to keep the things neat and organised, because drawers are often the messiest of the places. We love to just dump things and close the drawer.
I keep my brushes, make up and hair in tooth brush holders. We get some sturdy and nice holders in the market these days.
For the hair clutches, you can tie a nice thick ribbon or string and hang it with the help of a hook. Clutch your hair clutches on the ribbon. Stays damage free and organised.
For smaller clip use thick colourful charts and cut them in strip and hook you clips to them and place them in a transparent box.
If you have excess make up, you can store all of them in see through boxes for later use.
The most important thing for a non-messy dressing table is that we should always put the stuff back in its place. Keep the jewellery that you are going to wear the next day out the previous night so that way you won’t have to rush in the morning and pull everything out.
Learn to give away stuff you don’t use or haven’t used. Check for expiry date more often and discard them. Dusting is a must once in 15 days.
Happy Organising.
