Bhopal: Factionalism in BJP which gives supreme slogan: Organization is supreme: Situation of discord on more than 15 seats, 2 candidates accused of being anti-Sanatan, can rebel MLAs hurt BJP on many seats?
BJP workers who reached Bhopal from different assembly constituencies on Thursday have put the BJP, which claims that organisation is supreme and organisation is its strength, in a difficult situation.
Activists who arrived from many areas including Narmadapuram, Mauganj, Khandwa tried to lodge their complaints with senior leaders. But during this conversation with journalists, many workers got angry. In such a situation, the workers accused the declared candidates of being outsiders, being anti-Sanatan and running nepotism. One group even staged a silent protest against the candidate.
After this open rebellion, BJP leaders who claim to win every election on the basis of organisation are in shock.
1. Mauganj – BJP workers who reached Bhopal accusing the MLA of being anti-Sanatan said that our candidate has burnt Ramayana and also urinated on Tulsi. In such a situation the candidate should be changed. The workers were opposing the current MLA Pradeep Patel. He says that any candidate other than Pradeep Patel will run. While talking to the journalists, the common workers got angry and also alleged that the declared candidate is an outsider.
2. Pandhana – Many protesters including about a dozen women from Pandhana assembly of Khandwa also reached Bhopal and demonstrated. He demanded to replace the current MLA Ram Dangore
3. Narmadapuram – Opposition to Sitasaran Sharma, who was the Assembly Speaker, was also seen in the BJP office. Familyism and feudalism will not work. The one who files false cases against the workers will not do. Like they sat in the BJP office premises carrying placards with slogans. The people who came in protest kept silence.
4. Sheopur – BJP workers even stopped the convoy of Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar in protest against candidate Durgalal Vijay. Here supporters of Mahavir Singh Sisodia protested. Former MLA Durga Lal Vijay has been made the candidate. Angered by this decision, former district president Radheshyam Rawat has resigned. Rawat says that BJP has been ignoring other communities by giving tickets to the same person for the last 30 years.
5. Amarwada – BJP leaders are opposing the candidature of Monica Batti by calling her anti-Sanatan. Batti and his family are accused of burning Ramayana and working against Hindu religion. After the death of her father, Monica entered the world of politics. Now he is facing huge opposition. He also had to face opposition when the video of him smoking hookah went viral.
6. Sidhi – After his name cropped up in the Sidhi urination scandal, the high command canceled the ticket of current BJP MLA Kedarnath Shukla. BJP has entrusted the responsibility of winning this seat on the shoulders of MP Reeti Pathak. This displeased Kedarnath Shukla and he rebelled against Pathak. Shukla became emotional in front of the workers and claimed that Reeti Pathak, who has not even set foot in the constituency, will have to face defeat by a huge margin. Former District President and State Working Committee member Dr. Rajesh Mishra has resigned from BJP.
7. Banda – After Virendra Singh Lodhi got the ticket, former BJP MP Lakshminarayan Yadav had expressed his displeasure and even publicly said that the party high command has become blind, deaf and dictatorial. His son Sudhir Yadav has resigned from BJP.
8. Mudwara- After declaring Sandeep Jaiswal as the candidate from Mudwara seat of Katni, former Municipal Corporation Chairman Santosh Shukla gave a press conference and indicated that he will contest the elections as an independent candidate.
9. Depalpur – Angry workers protested in Depalpur, Indore and warned in a threatening tone that if the candidate from Depalpur is not changed, the mess will be wiped out. The local issue is in full swing and Manoj Patel comes from 60 kilometers away from there. In such a situation, the protest is gaining momentum.
10. Nagda – Angered by the ticket given to Dr. Tej Bahadur Singh from Nagda-Khachrod assembly constituency, Lokendra Mehta has announced to contest the elections as an independent. He said that despite being named at number one in the survey and panel, the ticket was not given. It is beyond understanding on what basis the decision was taken. But he will contest the election as an independent candidate.
11. Maharajpur – Party leaders have united in protest against the BJP candidate declared from Maharajpur assembly seat of Chhatarpur district. BJP leaders held a meeting at Kukrail temple in Harpalpur area. There is opposition to Kamakhya Pratap Singh, the declared candidate of BJP, from the very beginning. During the meeting, the disgruntled group once again made a strategy to get the tickets changed by camping in Bhopal and Delhi.
12. Satna – MP Ganesh Singh has been made the candidate from Satna Assembly. Former district president of Satna BJP, Ratnakar Chaturvedi, who was claiming the ticket, has resigned and has indicated to contest the elections as an independent. Former MLA Shankarlal Tiwari may also rebel.
13. Maihar:- Narayan Tripathi, the current MLA and the rabble-rouser of Vindhya Pradesh, took a dig at the party after giving ticket to the MP. He said it doesn’t matter to me. After declaring Shrikant Chaturvedi as the candidate, he attacked BJP and said that now MP in BJP is going to contest the election of MLA and MLA is going to contest the election of Sarpanchi. Tripathi has warned that he will definitely contest the elections.
14. Seoni-Malwa – Supporters of MLA Prem Shankar Verma raised slogans of Zindabad inside the BJP office. At the same time, supporters of Yogendra Mandloi, who is claiming ticket from Seoni-Malwa, also raised slogans in his support.
15. Morena – The party has again expressed confidence by making Raghuraj Singh Kansana its candidate. Former minister Rustam Singh was trying his best to get his son a ticket from this seat. In such a situation, party equations can get disturbed here also.
