He visited the temple of Chikkathirupati Venkataramanaswamy located at Malur taluk of Kolar district and offered prayers for the welfare of the state.
Later speaking at the press conference held, he said that, “No one should indulge in family politics. All the major parties together have been in power for about 75 years. But, is there any developments? No. Earlier, we were saying, the British to quit India. But today we are in such a situation, to say BJP, Congress and JDS parties to quit India.” he complained.
“People, not because of their trust in Congress party or for the sake of their assurances gave them the power. Instead, people didn’t wanted BJP to attain the power. In these 75 years three parties have been in power in one or the other form.” He asked “whether the administration given by these parties were satisfactory.”
Aam Aadmi Party Secretary Prithvi Reddy said that, the purpose behind organizing ‘Aralikatte’ program is, by connecting with the public directly, knowing the needs of the state and the country.
Further he added by saying that, “Voting holds greater value and grant the deserving positions to honest people. The congress government is driving dictatorship rule in the administration. Our intention is to promote a healthy environment and healthy governance. We request you to choose a good party to give corruption free governance”.
Naganna, the state organizing secretary of Aam Aadmi Party said that, “publics are not aware of the importance of taking part in the election process. Governments and the politicians who run the government should solve the problems in the society. But, the politicians who are getting elected lack in giving quality administration.”
At the press conference, the party’s state organizing secretary B T Naganna, Former MP of Kolar and party Vice President Dr. Venkatesh, District President Ravi Shankar and Malur taluk President Revanna were present.
