Dubai : The glittering Mrs. UAE International 2024, Season 5, organized by Being Muskaan Events and spearheaded by Founder Meena Asrani, dazzled Dubai’s downtown with its grandeur. The esteemed event was graced by the presence of luminaries including Sheikha Fatima Bint Hasher Bin Dalmouk Al Maktoum, along with Royal Dignitaries and notable personalities from Dubai’s industry elite, such as Her Excellency Laila Rahhal and Romain Gerardin-Fresse.
Amidst fierce competition, 18 finalists emerged from over a thousand entries, vying for top honors in both the gold and platinum categories.
Participants showcased their multifaceted talents through various rounds, including a talent round and a presentation round focusing on individual social responsibility, followed by engaging Q&A sessions. The evening’s highlights included stunning ramp walks featuring three distinct attire themes: traditional wear, evening gowns, and a final round of impromptu questioning.
Gwynne Shiboni DSouza, representing Mangalore, emerged as the 2nd runner-up in the gold category, capturing the coveted subtitle of Mrs. Best Personality 2024. Her captivating performance in the talent round, a fusion dance blending Bollywood and belly dance, mesmerized the audience.
In the presentation round, Gwynne passionately addressed the topic of individual social responsibility within sustainable clothing, showcasing her depth of knowledge and commitment to environmental consciousness.
Prior to the main event, participants underwent an intensive 2.5-day training and grooming session meticulously curated by Being Muskaan. The program encompassed fitness regimes, makeup tutorials, photography sessions, self-defense classes, choreography rehearsals, meditation practices, nutritional guidance, and etiquette training.
Gwynne’s journey to success is marked by her academic prowess and dedication to her craft. Having pursued her MBA in Business Operations and Supply Chain Management from Middlesex University, Dubai, she currently excels as a procurement professional in the automotive sector. Gwynne’s love for dance blossomed during her school days, beginning with Bharatanatyam and later expanding to include ballroom dance training at Ripvins Ballroom Dance Class.
Hailing from St. Gerosa Girls High School, Jeppu, and St. Agnes College, Bendur, Gwynne’s achievements stand as a testament to her talent, perseverance, and the vibrant spirit of the UAE’s diverse community.
