The Karnataka election is heating up with personalised attacks becoming a norm. Star campaigners are busy attacking Opposition’s party leaders at the cost of side-lining development goals of their parties. Meanwhile, the state is becoming experimental battleground with voters being lured by freebies, which in fact is at its peak this time.
All parties are pushing their agendas to catch hold the least number of floating voters, who indeed can be termed as kingpins this time around. Public opine that freebies need to be limited, else state treasury will not be suffice to meet such social security. However, social security in healthcare for all along with free quality education is not a concern at all for any party.
And most importantly elite class feels that whether such social security schemes are required at this juncture. Can’t a government create a livelihood for people instead of making them look towards the government for their daily meal?
No leading party is discussing about qualitative and free education, which will make people independent both financially and intellectually. There is also a feeling that political parties don’t want elite class voters, instead they are focusing on ‘Ji Hujoor’ cadres.
It’s interesting to see the rebel candidates are challenging the presiding leaders of the parties. All parties are experiencing the heat due to this in various constituencies. However, only last-minute understanding will reveal the precise results.
Seat tabulation is floating daily based on the heat waves these parties are generating through personalised attacks on their rivals. It looks like development is nobody’s cup of tea this time! Yes, why to have a chai ‘pay’ charcha, when you have a bowl of venom!
Congress’ interaction sessions would have yielded the benefit if it was held 6 months prior. Planning while on the battleground may not give expected results and will provide an edge to the opponent. However, if you mean to be that, then fine, nothing can be changed.
BJP’s last-minute push roping in Modi-Shah duo to ride the show, side-lining internal disputes, has been creating a better vibe compare to last week.
People know politics and corruption are two faces of a same coin. Despite that, coin matters!. It’s upto the same people to decide who is best out of the worst. Either at their constituencies or state or national as far as aspirations are concerned.
Whether one has to look after family commitments or sacrifice for the state? Or wait for freebies. And what are the terms and conditions to get eligibility for the same. Sab golmaal hai…Points to ponder, but definitely franchise your right.
I personally believe voting is my duty and I hope you too.
